WALKING TOURS
Join our local guide on a walking tour in Ålesund and learn to know the town. The tour may include a coffee, snack or maybe a visit to one of our great Museums in the town.
SOFT HIKES
Explore the majestic landscapes and natural wonders of Norways nature close up. The soft hiking tours may be a combination of guided hikes and sightseeing in a van or minibus. The tour may last from 3 hrs and up to 8 hrs including transport and lunch.
BOAT TOURS
Sailing with Storeggen doesn’t require any previous experience, but we would like you to muck in. Skilled instructors will make you feel a part of the crew and help you experience the feeling of sailing a historical fishing boat.
FISHING TRIPS
In the mid-19th century, Ålesund became the centre for the fishing industry in the region and eventually for Norway as a whole. Around the same time, the first ocean-going fishing boats were being built. Storeggen of Ålesund is a replica of a bank vessel from the 1890s. Embark on a fishing trip that is completely out of the ordinary. You can fish with a rod from the boat deck – perhaps you’ll catch a Borgundfjord cod? There is fishing equipment on board the boat for use by guests.
